President Alain Berset Dances on the Lovemobile

For the first time, a member of the Swiss Federal Council, Alain Berset, visited the Zurich Street Parade. He was accompanied by the Zurich City President Corine Mauch and Joel Meier, the President of the Street Parade Association. Berset wore a hat, sunglasses and a feather boa and danced on one of the 30 Lovemobiles of the parade. He also posted a video of himself on his Instagram account. In a guest article for the Tages-Anzeiger, Berset praised the importance of the event, noting that Zurich has played an important role in the history of techno alongside Berlin. He also expressed surprise that no member of the government had ever officially visited the event before. Berset concluded that the Street Parade deserved official recognition.nnnnnnnn
