The Badenfahrt is a ten-day festival held in the Swiss city of Baden. It is one of the largest city festivals in Switzerland, with over one million visitors. The first Badenfahrt was held 100 years ago. A 40-person organizing committee has been preparing for the festival for two years. During the festival, 100 clubs from Baden and the surrounding region will set up festive restaurants and offer creative ideas and spectacular constructions. Two theater groups will perform under the open sky, and three large stages will host amateur and international stars. There is also a large amusement park with rides for children and adults. On Sunday afternoons, 30 groups with over 1500 people will take part in the grand parade through the city center. The Badenfahrt is a festival of superlatives, and it has been on the UNESCO list of "living traditions of Switzerland" since 2017. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Badenfahrt, and the theme is "Neo-". To accommodate the daily influx of 100,000 visitors, 4300 additional bus trips and 50 extra trains will be provided. The festival pass (50 francs) includes travel by regional buses and trains from Olten, Zurich and Waldshut (Germany).
