The designated President of the Swiss Water Management Association (SWV), Susanne Vincenz-Stauffacher, has expressed her support for the full liberalisation of the electricity market and no longer believes in an electricity mix without nuclear power. She does not rule out the possibility of building new nuclear power plants in Switzerland if necessary. However, she still believes in the expansion of hydropower, and believes that it is necessary to find a way to work with environmental organisations so that they do not impede each other. She also believes that small environmental organisations should not have the same power as large organisations. Furthermore, she believes that glacier forefields should not automatically be protected, as there are several areas where new dams could be built. If necessary for the security of supply, lower residual water levels should also be allowed for a limited period of time.nnnnnnnnnnnn
