The Swiss Social Democratic Party (SP) has elected National Councillor Samira Marti (BL) and National Councillor Samuel Bendahan (VD) as the new co-presidents of its Federal House of Representatives faction. This is the first co-presidency of a Federal House of Representatives faction in Switzerland. The two will succeed Roger Nordmann (VD), who has been the faction's leader since 2015.
