12 Injured After Mass Brawl in Glattpark in Opfikon ZH.

On Saturday evening, a mass brawl broke out between two groups of people from Eritrea during an event at Glattpark in Opfikon, Zurich. According to Ralph Hirt, spokesperson for the Zurich Cantonal Police, a large police operation was launched at 6pm following a violent altercation between the two groups. The police managed to separate the groups and disperse the gathering. Seven people were seriously injured and five people were lightly injured. The participants of the altercation were attendees of the Eritrea Festival, which was originally scheduled to take place in Oberuzwil, SG, but was cancelled due to fears of violence. Around a dozen police vehicles and various paramedics were deployed, and two rescue helicopters were on standby in case of emergency.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
