Organizations Critical of Measures Do Not Establish a Presence in Zurich

The groups Mass-Voll and Aufrecht, which originated from mass criticism circles, will not gain a seat in the National Council in the canton of Zurich. However, they are likely to help the EDU gain a seat. EDU, Mass-Voll, Aufrecht and Swiss Democrats have formed a list alliance, which is expected to gain one of the 36 Zurich seats. This seat will go to the EDU, which achieved the best result of the four partners with a voter share of 1.5 percent. The lists Mass-Voll with Nicolas Rimoldi and Aufrecht with the former Green cantonal councillor Urs Hans are likely to remain below one percent and thus go empty-handed.
