Kanton Jura Struggles with Transmission Issues

The canton of Jura experienced transmission problems on election day, causing delays in the announcement of the results. Initially scheduled for 3:30 pm, the results were not available until 7:30 pm. The State Chancellery attributed the delay to a technical malfunction in the transmission of the results. Because the results were very close together, it was difficult to create a ranking of the elected candidates for both the National Council and the Council of States.
