Police Intervention After Threat at Zurich Upper Court Ended

On Tuesday afternoon, the police operation in response to a threatening letter sent to the Zurich Higher Court was concluded. The court building had been evacuated earlier due to bomb threats received by various media outlets. Specialists had searched a suspicious object. The police stated that there was no danger to the public at any time. The email, sent to the "Blick" and the "Tages-Anzeiger", stated that a colour marking had been placed on the building over the weekend and that a bomb had been placed. It was sent from a German email address. No particularly important court case was scheduled at the Higher Court at the time.
