Cassis: “The devil is in the detail”

According to Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, there are no red lines after the exploratory talks with the EU. "Everything can be discussed again - by both sides." Many open points are about minor details: "The devil is in the detail."
Where Switzerland has not yet achieved its goals, discussions will be held again, Cassis told the media in Bern on Friday. He explicitly mentioned wage protection.
The Foreign Minister did not want to speculate on how long the negotiations might take. "That depends on the flexibility of both parties," said Cassis. The Federal Council wants to move forward quickly. "Our aim is not to negotiate for another two years."
