A 17-year-old teenager smashed a glass door with an emergency hammer on an ICE train on the way from Freiburg to Basel and slightly injured a train attendant. He was taken off the train by federal police officers when it stopped at Badischer Bahnhof in Basel, as the police reported on Thursday. According to the police, the teenager "felt harassed". He therefore smashed the intermediate door to one of the carriages during the incident on Wednesday and then hid in the train toilet. When a train attendant approached him, he headbutted him in the face and insulted the federal police officers who were called later. The 17-year-old was handed over to the youth welfare office. The amount of damage caused on the train is still unclear.
