Ski tourer dies after falling over rock face near Grabserberg SG

A ski tourer slipped and fell over a rock face on Sunday while climbing Klein Fulfirst near Grabserberg SG. The 61-year-old suffered fatal injuries.
The ski tourer was about 40 meters below the summit of the Klein Fulfirst, the St. Gallen cantonal police reported on Monday. There he started to slip and finally fell around 240 meters down the northern rock face.
The man was rescued by rescue specialists using a helicopter. The rescue workers were only able to determine that the Swiss man was dead.
