Globi visits the National Museum in Zurich in the 98th volume

In the 98th volume of "Globi in the Museum", the blue bird receives a sword as a gift. The question of whether it is a genuine artifact or a fake leads the cult figure to the National Museum in Zurich. The sword can now be viewed there.
The adventure takes Globi through the exhibition halls and depot rooms of the museum, according to a press release from Globi Verlag on Thursday. Globi meets a sword expert, for example, and "learns all kinds of things about the famous sausage dish, Pestalozzi and the St. Gallen globe".
The globe from the 16th century is on display in the National Museum and, according to the museum, is one of the most important cultural and historical objects in Switzerland. During its "crazy journey through time" in the museum, the blue bird falls asleep and meets historical figures in the land of dreams.
At the end of the book, Globi donates the sword to the museum. This sword is now actually on display in the National Museum's family exhibition. The museum had the sword recreated by a weaponsmith. Reality and fiction merge: "An object like this is an absolute first for us", museum director Denise Tonella is quoted as saying in the press release.
The 98th volume was drawn by Daniel Frick, who previously illustrated the volume "Globi in Space", among others. Boni Koller, who wrote the text for "Globi bei den Yaks", was responsible for the text.
