16-year-old moped rider seriously injured in collision in Dübendorf

A 16-year-old driver of an electric moped was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Dübendorf ZH on Thursday evening. His 15-year-old passenger was slightly injured, according to the Zurich cantonal police.
According to a press release issued by the Zurich cantonal police on Thursday, there was a collision with a 45-year-old car driver at the junction of a cycle path at the entrance to the village. It was not yet clear how the accident occurred.
The two injured young people were taken to hospital after receiving initial medical treatment. According to the police, the driver of the car was uninjured.
