The Greens are recommending that the SP's premium relief initiative be accepted. This was decided by the party delegates at their meeting in Renens VD on Saturday.
There were also no surprises in the other voting recommendations for June 9. The delegates voted against the cost brake initiative of the centrist party as well as the popular initiative "For freedom and physical integrity (stop compulsory vaccination initiative)" launched by vaccination sceptics.
The Greens had already decided to vote in favor of the Energy Coatings Act, which will also be put to the vote on June 9, on January 27.
Following the election of former Councillor of States Lisa Mazzone from Geneva as the new party president, the rest of the executive was also newly elected. The Greens' delegates elected two new vice presidents: Marionna Schlatter, a member of the National Council in Zurich, Michael Töngi, a member of the Council in Lucerne, and Samantha Bourgoin, a member of the Grand Council in Ticino.
National Councillor Sibel Arslan from Basel, National Councillor Nicolas Walder from Geneva and Margot Chauderna from Fribourg, Co-President of the Young Greens, were confirmed as Vice-Presidents.
