Selenskyj: Logical continuation of work on peace formula

For Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the planned peace conference in Switzerland is "a logical continuation of the work on implementing the Ukrainian peace formula". This is stated in a statement on Zelensky's website.
The last meeting on the peace formula launched by Selenskyj took place at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos last January. More than eighty countries were represented. Prior to that, peace formula meetings had been held in Copenhagen, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Malta.
President Viola Amherd informed Selenskyj by telephone on Wednesday of the Federal Council's decision to organize a high-level Ukraine peace conference at the Bürgenstock in Central Switzerland in June.
The Ukrainian President and Amherd had agreed to have as many countries as possible present at the conference, according to the statement on the presidential website. These countries should develop a common vision for the practical implementation of a just, sustainable and comprehensive peace for Ukraine.
Selenskyj also commented on the Federal Council's decision on Wednesday to support reconstruction in Ukraine with a total of five billion Swiss francs until 2036. "This is a strong sign of solidarity with the Ukrainians," he was quoted as saying.
