Gravel, concrete and building materials recycling associations merge

The trade association ARV Baustoffrecycling and the trade association of the Swiss gravel and concrete industry (FSKB) are merging. Their approximately 400 members will now operate under the name "Baustoff Kreislauf Schweiz", as they announced following the decision.
The new association is intended to bundle and further expand the sustainable and environmentally friendly use of mineral building materials, as it announced after its foundation on Friday.
In cooperation with the licensing authorities, it aims to guarantee the supply of the construction industry. On the other hand, the association should support and promote the use of stone building materials in the cycle from extraction to recycling and disposal.
Baustoff Kreislauf Schweiz already includes over 80 percent of the relevant companies. The association represents over 1000 gravel quarries, concrete plants and recycling centers.
