Auction of Schumacher watches postponed by one day

The auction house Christie's has postponed the planned auction of watches owned by Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher by one day. It will not take place on Monday as planned, but on Tuesday in Geneva.
The postponement was necessary because the auction house's website was not working properly. "Christie's confirms that a technical security issue has impacted some of our systems, including our website," the auction house said. "We are taking all necessary steps to address this matter and have engaged a team of additional technology experts."
The racing driver was a passionate watch collector and owns several rare pieces. Some of them were made especially for him by the best watchmakers in the world. The estimated prices per piece are between 150,000 francs and 2 million francs. Among the watches is a model from the F.P. Journe manufacture with a dial in the Ferrari color red and symbols of Schumacher's seven world championship titles. The estimated price is between one and two million francs.
