The business of the Swiss Weltbild publishing house is not affected by the insolvency of the German Weltbild company that became known on Monday (yesterday). The business of Weltbild Switzerland continues to run smoothly, the company announced on Tuesday.
Weltbild Switzerland's processes are set up in independent structures parallel to the processes in Germany. Weltbild Switzerland offers books, eBooks as well as decorative, hobby and leisure articles via www.weltbild.ch and in 24 branches in German-speaking Switzerland.
On Monday, the WB D2C Group filed for insolvency for its German subsidiary Weltbild GmbH & Co. KG filed for insolvency at the Augsburg district court.
