Health economist: New association to be welcomed in principle

Health economist Willy Oggier considers the establishment of a new health insurance association to be fundamentally welcome. However, this would not solve the basic problem of the two current associations, which often disagree with each other.
"The decisive factor will be who will shape the new association," said Oggier on Thursday when asked by the Keystone-SDA news agency. If the squabblers remain in the trenches, nothing will change. This is because they are linked to the people who shaped the current Santésuisse and Curafutura associations.
