A city bus crashes in Lucerne

A bus accident occurred in the city of Lucerne on Wednesday morning. The reason for the accident was probably a health problem on the part of the driver. Passengers were not seriously injured.
Urs Wigger, spokesman for the Lucerne police, confirmed a report by "20 Minuten" at the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency, according to which a bus belonging to Verkehrsbetriebe Luzern AG (VBL) had crashed at Paulusplatz.
The chauffeur was taken to hospital with a suspected health problem, said Wigger. No passengers were seriously injured, but they were being cared for.
According to the pictures published by "20 Minuten", the bus veered into the oncoming lane, then left it and collided with bushes.
