Lucerne court finds 25-year-old Afghan guilty of murder

The Lucerne Criminal Court has found a 25-year-old Afghan guilty of the murder of his acquaintance. He is to receive a prison sentence of 20 years and a 15-year ban from the country. The verdict is not yet final.
The accused, who lives in Brest (F), is alleged to have killed a friend with 25 stab wounds and nine cuts during a short stay in Lucerne, according to the prosecution. The motive for the murder is still unclear.
