Left bank of the city of Lucerne without electricity

There was a power outage in the city of Lucerne on Saturday night. The left bank of Lake Lucerne was affected "over a relatively large area", as a spokeswoman for the energy supplier Energie Wasser Luzern (EWL) told the Keystone-SDA news agency on request.
The power went out at around 00:30 on Saturday, the spokeswoman continued, confirming the Blick report.
The reasons for the outage were not initially known. The duration of the outage was also still unclear. The EWL on-call service is working at full speed to rectify and clarify the problem, the spokeswoman said.
