French pop icon Mireille Mathieu is coming to Germany for the first time with her last major tour abroad, "Goodbye my Love Goodbye". The 78-year-old will kick off the tour in Chemnitz in eastern Germany this Thursday (October 24). According to information from the ticket portal Eventim, she will be performing in ten German cities until mid-November 2024. After Germany, she will continue on to Prague and the Slovakian capital Bratislava. The tour celebrates her 60-year career.
In future, she will only make short guest appearances and visit fewer cities, the Frenchwoman told the German Press Agency in an interview. A decision that not only has something to do with her age. She also wants to slow down in order to have more time for herself and for creative projects such as composing.
