Lindt & Sprüngli brings hype chocolate to Switzerland

The sale of Lindt's limited-edition Dubai chocolate triggered a veritable run on the stores in Germany. Now the chocolate manufacturer is also launching its hype product in a limited edition in Switzerland.
From next Saturday, a limited edition of 500 of the handmade chocolate creation will be available in the Lindt Museum store in Kilchberg near Zurich. According to a Lindt press release issued on Thursday, the retail price per bar is 14.95 Swiss francs.
The chocolate producer has triggered a real hype with its Dubai chocolate. In Germany, for example, people queued for hours for one of the coveted bars. They were then offered again on Ebay for up to 350 euros. Lindt's retail price in Germany was 14.99 euros.
The Lindt Dubai chocolate is based on a creation that was first developed in 2021 by chocolate artist Sarah Hamouda. The product went viral thanks to influencers.
