Former Federal Councillor Simonetta Sommaruga teaches at the University of Bern

Former Federal Councillor Simonetta Sommaruga will teach at the University of Bern in the spring semester of 2025. Together with Adrian Vatter, Professor of Political Science, she will lead the seminar entitled "Governance in Theory and Practice" at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, as detailed in a press release issued by the university.
The former SP Federal Councillor will be sharing her knowledge with students every week from February to the end of May next year, the University of Bern announced on Friday. For the first time, the course will combine theory and practice in Swiss governance, it added.
