Unknown persons attempt to rob ATM in Vaud

Unknown perpetrators attempted to rob an ATM in Montagny-près-Yverdon (VD) on Saturday night. A police operation was still underway late on Saturday morning.
The incident took place on Saturday at around 4.30 am. The perpetrators targeted the ATM in the Migros shopping center "Expo Centre".
"A priori, it is an attempted burglary," said Marjorie Zumkeller, media spokeswoman for the Vaud cantonal police, when asked by the Keystone-SDA news agency - confirming a report by "24 Heures".
