Lost Dog Travels 160 Kilometers Overnight

Lucky, a 14-year-old Border Terrier, managed to escape from her kennel in the canton of Bern, Switzerland on Monday evening. The next morning, she was found 160 kilometers away near Lake Geneva. An inhabitant of the city discovered the dog on the side of the road and alerted the authorities. Lucky had a few ticks in her fur, but otherwise seemed to be in good health. Thanks to a microchip, the Geneva police were able to quickly locate her owners, who were anxiously awaiting news of their missing pet in Bern. Her owner, Jennifer Wagner, believes that someone must have helped Lucky on her long journey, as it would have been impossible for a dog to cover such a distance in such a short time.nnnn
