It is time to consider the return of the Unspunnenstone, which has been missing since 2005. Swiss Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider, who is responsible for the dossier as Justice Minister, has stated that the legal dispute is now over. This was agreed upon by the governments of the cantons of Bern and Jura when they reached an agreement on the modalities of the canton switch of Moutier in May. Baume-Schneider is confident that the people involved will find a way to return the Unspunnenstone, so that the story can have a happy ending. The Unspunnenstone is an 83.5 kilogram stone that was stolen by Jura separatists in 1984 from the tourist museum in Unterseen. It reappeared in 2001, but was stolen again in 2005. Now that the legal dispute is over, it is time for the people involved to consider when the Unspunnenstone will be returned. Baume-Schneider is confident that they will find a way to bring the story to a happy conclusion.nnnn
