Brian Keller, known from a 2013 documentary, has been placed under pre-trial detention in Zurich, facing charges of attempted grievous bodily harm.
Brian Keller is currently in custody: the Zurich compulsory measures court has approved a corresponding application by the public prosecutor’s office.
The pre-trial detention ordered is based on the “risk of repetition”, as the senior public prosecutor’s office announced on Monday.
The public prosecutor’s office is conducting proceedings against 28-year-old Keller on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm. The man, who became nationally known in a 2013 documentary film as “juvenile delinquent Carlos”, allegedly attacked and injured an opponent last week.
The public prosecutor’s office is not currently providing any further information due to the ongoing proceedings. However, it refers to the presumption of innocence, which applies until the legal conclusion of proceedings.
