Holcim Switzerland acquires Cand-Landi, enhancing its portfolio in building materials and recycling.
Holcim Switzerland is taking over its previous partner Cand-Landi. The western Swiss company will thus continue to operate as a subsidiary of the Swiss cement giant and offer its customers a range of services in the areas of building materials, recycling, earthworks, logistics and pipeline maintenance.
The transaction follows decades of partnership between the two companies, the Cand-Landi Group, based in Grandson in the canton of Vaud, announced on Tuesday. The aim is to ensure continuity for both the Group’s employees and its customers. Financial details of the deal are not provided in the press release. Cand-Landi claims to employ around 230 people.
