Yes, Wegovy is available in Switzerland. It was approved 1.5 years ago, however shortages and supply issues hindered sales.
Currently there are a few places to get Wegovy in Switzerland.
Firstly I’ve found an online retailer that claims to ship Wegovy to Switzerland without problems.
However it looks expensive. Starting at €459.
As a cost reference for Wegovy; a monthly dose costs CHF 300 in Germany.
Active Ingredient: Contains Semaglutide, higher in dosage than in Ozempic.
The Ozempic & Wegovy brands offer different products and solutions. Both, spring from Semaglutide.
Service Offered: Semaglutide Injections Subscription in Geneva. Drip Hydration are based in Geneva. They offer Semaglutide Weight Loss Shots. In home, at location or shipped to your home.
Their injections are actually also in the same price range of $499.
Insurance Coverage: Uncertain if Wegovy will be included in the list of medicines reimbursed by health insurance.
If online options don’t satisfy you. The first place to go would be your doctor to ask about a prescription. I highly recommend this if you are looking for Wegovy in Switzerland, you will save money and you will be under the guidance and administration of a professional.
