76-year-old pedestrian falls in front of streetcar in Geneva and dies

A 76-year-old pedestrian fell so badly while crossing a street in Geneva on Monday evening that she was hit by a streetcar. The woman died at the scene of the accident.
Rescue workers provided first aid at the scene. However, the woman was so seriously injured that she died shortly afterwards, as reported by the Geneva cantonal police on Tuesday. The public prosecutor's office launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
According to the police, 13 people have already died on the streets of Geneva this year.
