Another traffic jam in front of the Gotthard

The traffic on the driveway to the south had already caused a traffic jam of ten kilometers on Thursday morning. This meant a waiting time of up to one hour and forty minutes.
As the Touring Club of Switzerland (TCS) announced on the short message service X, the stationary column grew to ten kilometers shortly after 7 am. The vehicles were stuck between Erstfeld and Göschenen UR.
This means that the queue of cars has become significantly longer in a short space of time: Just an hour earlier, the TCS had reported a traffic jam of only four kilometers.
