AXA Switzerland buys fleet manager CarNet

The insurer AXA is taking over the Swiss fleet manager CarNet. This is to be gradually integrated into the company's own subsidiary for mobility solutions.
Axa Switzerland plans to fully integrate the SME into AXA Mobility Services (AMS) after a transitional phase, the insurer announced on Friday. With this step, AMS is expanding its market position. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Nothing will change for the employees of the companies "for the time being", the statement continued. The employees will continue to be employed and the CarNet site in Schlieren will remain open "until further notice".
Tania and Daniel Lanz, the previous owners of CarNet, will remain on the company's management board, but will gradually withdraw from the company, the statement continued. Mensur Jasari will remain CEO of AMS after the takeover.
