Bern and Rome reach agreement in home office dispute for cross-border commuters

توصلت سويسرا وإيطاليا إلى اتفاق بشأن فرض الضرائب على العمل من المنزل. واعتبارًا من عام 2024، سيتمكن العاملون عبر الحدود من العمل من المنزل بنسبة تصل إلى 25 في المائة من ساعات عملهم من المنزل.
وقّعت وزيرة المالية كارين كيلر-سوتر ونظيرها الإيطالي جيورجيتي إعلانًا بهذا المعنى يوم الجمعة بعد مؤتمر عبر الفيديو، كما أعلنت وزارة المالية الفيدرالية (FDF).
If the maximum limit of 25 percent is adhered to, everything will remain the same - both for the state, which is responsible for collecting taxes, and for the status of cross-border commuters.
Keller-Sutter praised the agreement reached, according to the press release. The solution is "good for Swiss companies and their employees". It brings clarity and certainty in dealing with the taxation of home offices, "reduces the administrative burden and guarantees equal treatment for all cross-border commuters affected".
