The Bern cantonal police continued their search for two people in Lake Brienz in the Bernese Oberland on Monday. The operation took place in the region of the Giessbach Falls.
A major search operation is underway," a police spokeswoman confirmed to the Keystone-SDA news agency. She was initially unable to provide any further details.
According to the news portal blick.ch, two helicopters and the lake police were deployed. The police began the search at around 5 p.m. on Sunday.
