Campax founder Freimüller leaves organization

The founder of the Campax campaign organization and co-managing director, Andreas Freimüller, is leaving the company at the end of May. This was announced by Campax on Friday.
Itziar Marañón will then take over the management alone. Maraõn has been Co-Managing Director of Camapax since 2022. Previously, the trained journalist was deputy head of the City of Bern's Office for Migration and Racism Issues.
According to the press release, Marañón said that Campax had established itself as an important player in Switzerland's political and social landscape under Freimüller with few resources and a great deal of passion and would continue to consolidate this position. Freimüller intends to concentrate on building a software company for campaign technology in the future.
Campax claims to be the largest Swiss citizens' movement and was founded in 2017.
