On Friday, Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis confirmed that a Swiss citizen was killed in the recent terror attacks on Israel. The victim was a dual citizen in his late sixties. This is the first time a Swiss citizen has been killed in a terror attack in Israel. The Swiss government has expressed its condolences to the victim's family and has offered its support to the Israeli government in its fight against terrorism. The Swiss government has also called for an end to violence and for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
