Change at the top of the smallest parliamentary group in the Federal Parliament: Zurich National Councillor Corina Gredig takes over the chairmanship of the GLP parliamentary group from Tiana Angelina Moser.
This was announced by the Green Liberals on Tuesday evening after their parliamentary group meeting. Moser was parliamentary group president for twelve years. She wanted to relinquish the office after her election to the Council of States, it was reported.
Gredig will take over the chairmanship of the parliamentary group from December 11, and the 36-year-old has been a member of the National Council since 2019. She was previously a member of the municipal and cantonal councils. She is Co-President of the GLP Canton of Zurich. In addition to politics, Gredig is a partner in a consultancy firm.
Following heavy losses in October, the GLP parliamentary group still holds eleven parliamentary seats - ten in the National Council and one in the Council of States.
