The third day of the trial at the St. Martin Center in Hochdorf LU began with the remaining pleas of the accused involved in the scuffle in Geuensee. The defense lawyer demanded an acquittal for the younger brother of the main accused.

The defense lawyer told the judges of the Lucerne criminal court that it was a self-defense situation. He had been threatened with a hammer by the other party and had defended himself.

The defendant is accused of breaking a man's skull with a wooden stick, which resulted in a brain haemorrhage. According to the indictment, his life was in danger, which is why he should be found guilty of attempted intentional homicide. The public prosecutor demanded a five-year prison sentence with a ten-year ban from the country.

According to the defense lawyer, the skull fracture was caused by a sharp-edged object - a knife or a bunch of keys. However, the video showed that his client had only hit the man on the back.
