CS-PUK report: FINMA welcomes recommendation for new powers

The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority Finma welcomes the CS-PUK's recommendation to the Federal Council regarding new powers for Finma. We ourselves have been calling for this for some time," Finma wrote in a statement on Friday.
At the same time, FINMA accepts the criticism expressed in the report of the parliamentary investigatory commission PUK on the emergency rescue of Credit Suisse. "We are continuing to strengthen our supervision and are also implementing the lessons we have learned from the Credit Suisse case," it continued.
