Cyclist found dead in Neuchâtel

A cyclist was found dead near the waterfront in the city of Neuchâtel on Sunday. According to the cantonal police and the public prosecutor's office, he lost control of his bike and fell down a low wall.
The police and public prosecutor's office announced on Monday that the rescue workers who arrived at the scene of the accident were only able to determine that the 54-year-old man had died. The accident also required the deployment of two police patrols and specialists from the technical accident team.
The public prosecutor's office has launched an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
