Following violent attacks against BLS employees and transport police by FC Luzern fans at Bern's Wankdorf train station, the club will have to close the home sector for the upcoming Super League home match against Yverdon. However, this will only happen if the identity of the perpetrators of the violence is not clarified, according to the working group of the cantonal conference of justice and police directors.

If this can be achieved in time, the club will be able to waive the sector closure next Saturday, the Lucerne licensing authority said on Wednesday. Two members of the security staff were injured in the incident following the FC Luzern match against Bern's Young Boys.

Grasshopper Club Zurich (GC), in turn, was obliged by the licensing authority of the city of Zurich to attend mandatory briefings before and after the next three football matches. Last Saturday, supporters of the club had set off over a hundred pyrotechnic objects on the march to Letzigrund stadium before the match against city rivals FC Zurich.

A group of up to 80 GC supporters also attempted to storm an underground parking garage. The security forces had to use rubber bullets and irritants. The licensing authority ordered a probationary period of three football matches. Should further incidents occur, further measures will be considered, the working group added. Both licensing authorities condemned the incidents "in the strongest terms".
