Glacier 3000 Closed to Visitors Due to Breakdown

On Thursday, a power failure caused a cable car at Glacier 3000 in Les Diablerets VD to stop working. Despite working until 2am, the cause of the failure was not found. 270 people were stuck in the cabin and were eventually evacuated by two helicopters from Air Glacier. On Sunday, the cable car was still not operational and it is not known when it will be running again. The company is informing customers on their website and groups that had booked will be notified directly.
