Glarner Landammann Elected to the Council of States.

Benjamin Mühlemann, the current Glarner Landammann, has been elected to the Swiss Council of States. He achieved the best result of the three candidates. The Green Mathias Zopfi was re-elected, and the other Glarner Nationalratssitz was won by SVP-Mann Markus Schnyder. Benjamin Mühlemann achieved the highest number of votes, securing his seat in the Swiss Council of States. Mathias Zopfi was re-elected, and Markus Schnyder won the other Glarner Nationalratssitz. This result ensures that Glarner will be represented in the Swiss Council of States by two members from different political parties.
