Jelmoli will remain open until February 2025

The Jelmoli department store in Zurich will now remain open until the end of February 2025 after all. This was reported by the business magazine "Bilanz" in its Friday edition (preprint). The department store was originally scheduled to close at the end of 2024.
This extension will allow Jelmoli to take full advantage of the high-turnover Christmas business on all six floors. From January 2025, operations will be gradually reduced before the department store closes for good, according to CEO Reto Braegger. He emphasized that Jelmoli's extended operations are possible thanks to the loyalty of its brand partners and staff, among other things.
