Job Market Shows Small Growth in Third Quarter

The Swiss job market is showing impressive resilience despite current economic challenges. According to the Swiss Job Market Index of personnel service provider Adecco, job postings increased by 3% compared to the previous quarter and 7% compared to the same quarter last year. The biggest growth was seen in the machine, electrical and metal industry (MEM), with demand for plant operators, assembly professionals and technical experts. Automation and electronics also saw an increase in job postings. Despite signs of a slowdown, the good order situation is still supporting the industry and keeping demand for skilled workers high.
