Juvenile prosecutor’s office does not provide any information on the alleged perpetrator

At the request of Keystone-SDA, the Zurich Youth Prosecutor's Office on Monday provided no further information on the status of the proceedings against the alleged perpetrator of the knife attack on Saturday evening. The 15-year-old Swiss national was arrested shortly after the attack.
It therefore remains unclear for the time being whether the alleged perpetrator has already been released or is still in custody. The Office of the Attorney General for Juveniles of the Canton of Zurich did not comment on the question of whether an application for pre-trial detention could be made, referring to the ongoing proceedings on Monday morning.
