Line between Bern and Fribourg interrupted due to derailment

Train services between Bern and Fribourg were interrupted on Thursday morning. The reason for this was a derailment between Bern and Bern Europaplatz, as reported by SBB.
Delays and cancellations are to be expected, it said. The duration of the interruption was not yet known. SBB advised travelers to Geneva, Geneva Airport, Lausanne, Olten, Aarau, Zurich, Lucerne, Zofingen and Sursee to travel via Biel.
