Macron finds peace summit scenario in Switzerland “useful”

French President Emmanuel Macron has welcomed the announcement of a possible peace summit for Ukraine with the help of Switzerland. "This is one of the useful initiatives," Macron told the Keystone-SDA news agency in Davos GR on Wednesday.
However, the French President remained cautious about the meeting. "The conditions must allow it," he said before his speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF).
In a speech on Tuesday evening, Macron said: "We must not let Russia win". He announced that he would travel to Ukraine in February and that France would deliver around 40 missiles and several hundred bombs to Kiev.
